Food & Life Companies Hong Kong Limited respects personal data privacy and is committed to protecting, the privacy, confidentiality and security of personal information we hold by implementing and complying with the provisions of the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (“the Ordinance”) of Hong Kong SAR, the PRC (“Hong Kong”) in respect of the management of personal information. We are equally committed to ensuring that all our employees shall at all times uphold these obligations.

Statement of Practices

1. Collection of Personal Data

We may collect your following information (“Personal Data”) from you in one of our SUSHIRO restaurants operated by us, on our online services, or by telephone or fax:

Gender
Date of birth
Email address
Password
Telephone number (including mobile number)
Credit card information
Details of your order including menu preferences and preferred restaurants, your health condition such as allergies
Your feedback to our services
Nationality
Photo identification card
Your smart device ID
Geographical information of your computer or smart device
Bank accounts

The provision of your Personal Data to us is voluntary. However, if you do not provide sufficient information to us, we may not be able to provide sufficient services to you.

2. Purpose.

The Personal Data collected from you will be used solely for the following purposes:

processing your booking request and/or advance order with us;
processing of any payment or credit facilities in relation to supply of products and services to you;
checking of your credit, payment and/or status in relation to the supply of our products and services to you;
notifying you about changes to our services;
asking you to participate in one of our online feedback questionnaires;
processing your making entry our promotional campaigns; and
processing your job applications to us and our human resource management.

3. Cookies.

We use cookies on our website in order to calculate the number of people visiting our website, to maintain statistics of visitors’ traffic patterns, to personalise our service to you, and to provide better services to you. If you do not want cookies to be used, you can set your internet browser to deny them, however, if you do so, we may not be able to provide specific services to you.

4. Security Measure.

When you submit your Personal Data to us by using our online services electronically, the communications including your Personal Data will be encrypted. Access to your Personal Data is only limited to relevant employees of SUSHIRO HONG KONG LIMITED strictly on a need-to-know basis. We will adopt reasonable steps to protect your Personal Data from loss, misuse, unauthorised access, disclosure or modification. You are requested to protect your username, password for our online services and must notify us of any breach of security as soon as you find it.

5. Retention.

We will retain your Personal Data for no longer than is necessary. Upon your request, we will delete and remove from our system your Personal Data retained. 6. Consent.

Unless permitted or required by law, your Personal Data will not be disclosed or transferred to any third parties without your prior consent. If you give us a prior consent, you have the right to withdraw the consent at any time by contacting our Personal Data Protection Officer as stated above.

7. Access.

We will adopt reasonable steps to ensure your Personal Data collected and held by us are accurate, complete and updated. You have the right to access to your Personal Data held by us. Please note that your request may be refused if it falls on Section 20 of the Ordinance (Circumstances in which data user shall or may refuse to comply with data access request). We will charge you a reasonable fee for processing your access request. The identity of the person making an access request will be checked and recorded in the data protection log book as provided under Section 27 of the Ordinance (Log book to be kept by data user).

8. Location Access.

Please refer to our Privacy Policy regarding our use and collection of personal information from customers and/or Members.
Privacy Policy: This app collects location data to enable store finder etc. even when the app is closed or not in use. You acknowledge and agree that for the purpose of providing you location services (e.g. delivery address detection) and promotion transfer (e.g. points transfer, coupon transfer). We may use or combine your personal information with other information including but not limited to contact list, Geo-location technologies data (GPS) and the International Mobile Equipment Identity number accessed in your mobile device. You hereby give your consent to us to access such information in your mobile device.

9. Correction.

You have the right to correct your Personal Data held by us if it is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date by contacting our Personal Data Protection Officer as stated above. The identity of the person requesting correction making an access request will be checked and recorded in the data protection log book as provided under Section 27 of the Ordinance (Log book to be kept by data user).

10. Changes.

We review our Privacy Policy from time to time and may make changes as we deem appropriate. This Privacy Policy is last updated on 17 May, 2022.
